Lahinch Golf Course

Often described as the St. Andrews of Ireland, Lahinch Golf Course is a vibrant experience which is now known as the most challenging golf courses but one of the most enjoyable golf courses in the world. The golf course overlooks over Lahinch Beach providing some of the most elegant views the West of Ireland has to offer. 

Lahinch is a small, welcoming and truly lively holiday resort with an atmosphere and energy thats all its own.  It nestles at the head of Liscannor Bay, beside a 2km long beach of golden sands.  

Located 35 minutes away from the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis through the N85, the golf course is situated along the beautiful coastline of the Wild Atlantic Way. If you wish to use public transport, the golf course is accessible through the 335 bus route which leaves directly from the Ennis Bus Station. The bus station is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The bus takes 55 minutes to reach the golf course.

Ennis Golf Club is located in the heart of County Clare. The golf course is located just a 4-minute drive from the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis which is easily accessible through the Drumbiggle Road or the R458.

The golf course is a competitive golf course which caters to golf enthusiasts of all ages. It is a well-maintained 18-hole, Par 70, parkland course. The golf course is open to both members and visitors alike who receive the best hospitality from the staff.

Ennis Golf Club first opened its doors to the public in 1999 and has been a popular destination to both visitors to Clare and Irish natives since then. After you play a round of golf, visitors can visit the facilities state-of-the-art modern clubhouse which includes showers for ladies and gents, changing rooms, a lounge bar, dining room and ample car parking.

Once the grounds of Ennis Golf Club have been explored, grab a bite to eat in the Town Hall Bistro, Brendan O’ Regan restaurant or enjoy a drink in the Poet’s Corner Bar at the Old Ground Hotel Ennis.

Woodstock Golf Club nestles amidst the beautiful folling countryside of Ennis Co Clare and located 10 minutes drive from the Old Ground hotel in Ennis.  This is a 18 hole parkland course and offers some stunning holes which will test your skills
